ABOUT CLAIRE
I specialise in creating relational portraits and brand stories for creative minded professionals, with a focus on revealing character in a way that feels emotionally engaging, honest and human.
My deep curiosity about people, led me to study child psychology and Transpersonal psychotherapy to better understand what drives us and how we connect. This insight shapes the way I work. It’s not just about how you look - it’s about how you feel, and making sure the images reflect something real.
Before becoming a photographer, I worked in the music industry, shaping visual narratives for pop artists. It taught me how to balance an artistic vision with the practical needs of clients - something I bring to every shoot.
Whether we’re capturing your face, or the heartbeat of your business, I’ll guide you with empathy and clarity toward your vision - and we’ll have fun in the process.
My work has appeared in numerous publications including a book - The Art of Mediation - a collaboration with The Temple Gallery.
I’m currently working on a personal portrait and words project to amplify the stories of women who use creativity to heal and grow. This passion project is rooted in my own life changing journey into photography, after profound loss.
Based in West London with my filmmaker husband and mini Schnauzer - I will travel anywhere for a good story.
“I have worked with Claire many times. Her curiosity about life and people defines her creative work. She is technically brilliant but her intuitive approach and safe haven that she establishes with her subject sets her apart”.

Everyone is photogenic! Looking good is about feeling good. Most people feel self conscious in front of the camera and it’s down to me to help you relax - people say I’m good at that (check out the testimonials around the site). During your shoot, we’ll listen to some great music and I’ll guide you until we get something you’re happy with.

Every image receives a professional light retouch, which includes colour grading, light balancing and a subtle skin touch up, so you look like you on a really good day. Distracting elements like blemishes, stray hairs and extraneous marks will be removed.
More complex retouching requests are quoted for separately.
-
After the shoot I’ll make a wide selection of the best images - you’ll receive a link to a gallery to choose your favourites. Once selected, I’ll retouch them and send a new gallery within 10 working days (let me know if you need them sooner). You can download them in high and low resolution and share them directly with clients, agents and publishers.
